Desktop sales-enablement tool

World of Westeros

A desktop sales tool that walks HBO Max partners through the Game of Thrones timeline in an infinite-scroll 3D journey.

Live World of Westeros introduction spanning House of the Dragon, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and Game of Thrones

World of Westeros is a desktop sales-enablement tool that connects House of the Dragon, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and Game of Thrones in one infinite-scroll WebGL journey, built to help HBO Max's sales and partner teams pitch the franchise to customers. As they scroll, the camera moves between 3D scenes and story moments. I worked on scroll-to-camera choreography, scene loading, and browser performance with the TVGla team.

I worked as part of a TVGla team that included design, production, content, and engineering.

The brief

Give HBO Max's sales and partner teams a desktop tool that connects three Game of Thrones series in one long-form browser journey they can walk a customer through.

What I built

I worked on scroll-to-camera choreography, scene loading, and browser performance with the TVGla team.

The result

Sales teams move through connected 3D scenes and story moments as they scroll, with built-in sales tips.

  • Continuous scroll moves the camera through a connected 3D world
  • WebGL scenes combine 3D environments, timeline markers, and franchise artwork
  • Built with Three.js, React, and WebGL

The introduction and raven scene are live browser captures from August 2026. The full client build remains on the original site; this portfolio publishes only selected rendered views.

  1. Infinite scrollScroll progress controls the camera path and the active section of the timeline, tuned for a natural, easy-to-follow scroll feel.
  2. Camera choreographyThe camera path was blocked out in Blender and After Effects, then rebuilt as a scroll-driven camera path in the browser.
  3. WebGL scenesThree.js renders the environments, custom shaders, timeline markers, and lighting in the browser.
  4. Asset loadingScene assets load in stages so the long scroll can keep moving.
My roleScroll, camera, and browser performance
I focused on scroll-to-camera choreography, scene loading, and performance tuning as part of the TVGla engineering team.
The experienceOne journey across three series
The site connects House of the Dragon, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and Game of Thrones through one long-form 3D scroll path.
What you’re seeingCurrent live browser captures
The introduction and raven scene were captured from the current live site after entering the experience and moving through its scroll-driven timeline.
AudienceA desktop sales tool, not a public site
This is an internal-facing tool for HBO Max's sales and partner teams, not a consumer marketing site. It requires a desktop-sized window and blocks small screens with a "maximize your window" message.
