Official movie site

Fast X

I built front-end features across the official Fast X movie site.

Live Fast X official movie website hero with the film cast and home-release artwork

I implemented front-end features for Universal’s official Fast X site, including trailers, the video hub, galleries, and release content, with TVGla’s design and production teams.

I worked as part of a TVGla team that included design, production, content, and engineering.

The brief

Build an official Fast X campaign site with trailers, galleries, and release content.

What I built

I implemented front-end features with TVGla’s design and production teams.

The result

The official campaign site remains online at fastxmovie.com.

  • Live in production at fastxmovie.com
  • Front-end work across the production site
  • PHP routes with JSON-configured gallery and video content
JavaScriptPHPCDN delivery
  1. PHP routesRoute data selects the page type and template for each campaign section.
  2. JSON contentJSON supplies gallery and video content to reusable front-end components.
  3. Responsive front endMedia and layout adapt across desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
  4. CDN assetsPublic campaign media is delivered through a CDN.
  5. Client asset pipelineThe team received trailer and campaign files directly from the client, so new trailers could go live on the site soon after they were provided.
My roleFront-end engineering across the production site
I implemented site features with TVGla’s design and production teams. The work was collaborative, not a solo build.
The buildPHP routes for gallery and video pages
PHP route data and JSON-configured media drove reusable gallery and video pages. The site did not use React or Next.js.
Live siteOfficial Fast X site
The official Fast X site remains online. This case study covers my front-end contribution during the campaign build.
